Nave

High in the roof of the nave is a window unique in Kent and from the reign of Edward II (1307-27). It is triangular with a flambouyant (flame-like) centre formed of six curves. It was rediscovered when the chancel roof was repaired in 1888. The chancel roof was lowered so that it could be seen again (especially from the churchyard).
